HOW IT HAPPENED: 

First Set: Tampa took a quick 5-1 lead that caused Nova Southeastern to take an early timeout. The Spartans forced the Sharks to use both timeouts after their 12th point and rode a 13-3 run to end the set in dominating fashion. Tampa recorded a .444 hitting percentage in the set while Nova Southeastern posted a lowly .037 mark. | Score: 25-9 Tampa

Second Set: The second set was much tighter at the start, with Tampa only holding a one-point advantage as the Sharks recorded their tenth point of the frame. From there, the Spartans began to pull away with a 10-2 run highlighted by four kills from Tess Schrenger before a Sharks timeout. Tampa finished with a .485 hitting percentage in the set with 16 kills, where they had just 9 in the first set. | Score: 25-15 Tampa

Third Set: Errors plagued the Sharks just as they had the entire match, with the first four Tampa points coming off Nova Southeastern mistakes. Mackenzie Dufresne and Jenna Davis then went on the attack, with Dufresne recording six kills and a service ace and Davis posting 5 kills as the Tampa lead would win another set by double digits. | Score: 25-15 Tampa
