HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Set: With a back and forth start by both teams, the Spartans would eventually score four straight points to take a 9-5 lead including three kills by Kalli Cors. The Spartans would hold a four-point lead for the majority of the match. At the 17-13 point, the Spartans would score 8 of the next 9 points including two service aces from Cors and a kill and a block from Nathaly Perez. | Score: 25-14 Tampa
Second Set: The Spartans would open up the second set with three of the first four points. Afte they Eagles tied it up, Zoey Seput would setup back-to-back kills for Tess Schrenger and Cors to take a 6-4 lead. The two teams would stay at a steady score throughout the second set before the Eagles tied it up at 14; however, the Spartans would score three straight thanks to the duo of Schrenger and Cors kills. The Spartans would hold their ground for the second set and take it from the Eagles. | Score 25-20 Tampa
Third Set: The Eagles would take a 3-2 lead to begin the set before the Spartans would score four straight points due to two attack errors from the Eagles and two Schrenger kills to take a 6-3 lead. After taking a 6-3 lead, their would be seven ties until after the 14-14 mark. Tampa would go on a 11-7 run and finish it off. | Score: 25-14 Tampa
