As a Sophomore (UCF)

• Returned to the University of Central Florida in 2023.
• Played in 40 games, starting 31.
• Hit .253 2 home runs and 14 RBI.
• Homered in Knights' 8-home run game against North Florida, the program single-game home run record (5/2).
• Notched first career triple and doubled in three-hit game against Memphis (4/14).
• Went 3-4 and drove in 5 runs with a home run, double, two runs against Bethune-Cookman (5/16).
• Drew a team-high 3 walks at Clemson (2/25).
• Started over 75% of his games played as a sophomore.

As a Freshman (UCF)

• Enrolled at the University of Central Florida as a true freshman in 2022.
• Played in 40 games with 22 starts.
• Hit .228 with 2 home runs and 13 RBI.
• First collegiate hone run was at Miami (5/11).
• Had 3 RBI with a home run against Bethune-Cookman (5/17).
• Had a multi-hit game against Cincinnati (5/19).

High School

• Graduated from Jesuit High School.
• Played for UT alum and 1998 national champion Miguel Menendez.
• In his Senior year, selected to play in the FACA all-star game
• Named first team all-conference and first-team all-state.
• Awarded Rookie of the Year in his sophomore year of high school.
• 2019 5A state champion.
• Hit a walk-off in the regional semifinals to send his team to the championship game.
• Also played for Hit Factory Pro.
• Helped team to 2020 national championship.

Personal

• Communications major.
• Son of Pat Russo and Trisha Bush. Stepson of Adrian Bush.
• Father, Pat, and uncle, Paul, both played baseball at UT and went on to play professionally.
• Stepfather Adrian Bush is a UT alum and current head men's soccer coach.
• Cousin Alexa Russo plays for UT softball team.
• Cousin Paul Russo, Jr., play professional baseball and is the current head coach at Tampa Catholic High School.
• Older brother, Tripp Russo, played college baseball at Adrian College (Mich.).
• Has a younger brother, Beckham Bush.
