Tampa Swimming Posts Pair of Wins Over NAIA No. 1 Keiser
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams each registered convincing wins over visiting Keiser University, who entered the meet at the Riseman Aquatics Center as the top team in the nation in the NAIA.

- Men: No. 2 Tampa 178, Keiser 65
- Women: No. 4 Tampa 192, Keiser 51
TOP PERFORMERS (MEN)
- UT was first in the opening relay, the 100 Medley Relay. A time of 42.42 came from Parker Knollman, Richy Polasek, Tibor Tistan and Blake Moran.
- The 500 Free went to Barnabas Fluck as he was clocked at 4:35.12.
- Parker Knollman took top honors in the 50 Back as he finished in 23.68.
- The 100 Fly had a first-place effort from UT's Adrian Aguilar with a time of 49.63.
- In the 50 Free, Ian Cooper was first with a showing of 20.28. Cooper would later take first in the 100 Back with a time of 49.81. Both victories also set new pool records at the Riseman Complex.
- UT followed with a Blake Moran first-place time of 45.67 in the 100 Free.
- First-place went to Caleb Brandon in the 200 Free with a showing of 1:41.60.
- After the first-place relay, effort, Tistan won the 50 Fly and established a pool record at 22.65.
- Santiago Corredor was first in the 100 IM as his 52.38 time was the fastest in the event and also a new pool record.
- The Spartans won the final event, the 100 Free Relay, with a 37.37 time from Moran, Brandon, Tistan and Cooper.
TOP PERFORMERS (WOMEN)
- The Spartans won the first event of the meet, taking the 100 Medley Relay in 50.91. The winning team included Kim McCaffrey, Katie Ramsey, Katie Horan and Delaney Mizell.
- Freshman Laura Hodgson was first in the 500 Free with a time of 5:11.00.
- Sophie Frece championed the 50 Back with a time of 27.24.
- In the 50 Breast, Julia Augustsson won at 31.14 as the time also marked a pool record. Augustsson notched her second victory of the day as the champion of the 100 Breast with a time of 1:07.33.
- Madysen Barnes was the winner of the 100 Fly as she was clocked at 58.12.
- The 50 Free went to Isabelle Sering with a 24.61 finals time. Sering followed with a top finish and pool record of 25.43 in the 50 Fly.
- Tampa won the 100 Free as Emma Chestang finished in 54.51.
- A time of 59.21 was good for a win for Roma Vrijhof in the 100 Back.
- Another freshman, Sidni Meister, took first with a 1:00.50 effort in the 100 IM. Her winning time also represented a new pool record in the event.
- Tampa went away with a first-place time of 46.80 in the 100 Free Relay from Sering, Mizell, Vrijhof and Madelyn Routhier.

The Spartans are back in the pool on Saturday, welcoming Lynn University at 1 p.m., in a Sunshine State Conference matchup.
