UT Defeats Lynn to Cap Perfect Weekend
TAMPA, Fla. - After defeating Keiser on Friday, the University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams returned to the pool and came away with victories on both sides over Sunshine State Conference opponent Lynn University.

TOP PERFORMERS (MEN)
- The Spartans took the first men's event, the 200 Medley Relay, as Parker Knollman, Jared Mindek, Adrian Aguilar and Ian Cooper notched a time of 1:30.96.
- Freshman Jacob Hamlin took the 1,000 Free as his time of 9:33.12 was 14-plus seconds ahead of the nearest competitor. Hamlin would later win the 500 Free with a time of 4:43.46.
- Knollman won the 200 Free as he finished at 1:42.41. Another first-place finish was recorded by Knollman with a time of 49.92 in the 100 Fly. He would then win the next men's race, the 200 IM, with a time of 1:54.89, to take his third individual event of the afternoon.
- The 100 Back went to Tampa's Cooper at 50.29.
- Caleb Brandon raced to a first-place finish with a time of 58.35 in the 100 Breast.
- In the 200 Fly, UT's Kenan Dean picked up the top spot as he concluded the event in 1:53.95.
- With a time of 20.79, Blake Moran was first in the 50 Free, featuring 16 swimmers across two heats.
- Aguilar was tops in the 100 Free with a finish in 46.29.
- C.J. Hills was the winner in the 200 Back at 1:56.15.
- In the 200 Breast, Mindek was clocked at 2:08.71 for the first-place finish.
- UT went away with a win, championing the 400 Relay in 3:04.22. The top finishers included Cooper, Brandon, Aguilar and Moran.
TOP PERFORMERS (WOMEN)
- Morgan Wimberly registered the first of many top finishes for the Spartans, winning the 1,000 Free with a time of 10:56.64.
- In the 200 Free, Lindsey Louder was fastest as she came in at 1:57.08.
- Madysen Barnes was the champion of the 200 Fly as she was clocked at 2:06.14. Barnes proceeded to win her second event of the meet with a first in the 200 IM at 2:10.43.
- The 200 Back went to the Spartans and Kim McCaffrey as she was timed at 2:05.22 to win by 2-plus seconds.
- Freshman Katie Ramsey claimed a first-place finish in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:23.86.
- Classmate Laura Hodgson followed with a first in the 500 Free with a time of 5:14.19.
- The Spartans concluded the women's action with a first-place time of 3:36.92 in the 400 Free Relay. The winning team included Tilde Morin, Isabelle Sering, Emma Chestang and Roma Vrijhof.
