Spartans Sights Set on National Championship Heading to Final Day of NCAA Championships
GENEVA, Ohio - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams enter the final day of the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships with the men holding on to their number-one spot in its quest for the program's first national championship. The UT women also continue their run within the top-10 as they sit sixth on the eve of championship Saturday.

Top Performers (Men)
- A huge start to the day for the Spartans came with Santiago Corredor winning the national championship in the 500 Free with a school record time of 4:17.98. Barnabas Fluck and Jacob Hamlin also finished in A final.
- Parker Knollman set the 100 Back school record in both the prelims and the finals as he would notch a 6th place finish of 46.42.
- Jared Mindek recorded crucial points with a 54.09 time in the 100 Breast, finishing 6th in the B final.
- The Spartans finished day four with a 200 Free Relay school record of 1:17.00 in a 2nd place finish from Ian Cooper, Tibor Tistan, Caleb Brandon and Blake Moran.
Top Performers (Women)
- Laura Hodgson opened off the day four finals with a 12th-place finish of 4:54.97 in the 500 Free.
- Madysen Barnes concluded the women's individual events for day four with a 10th place finish of 2:01.35 in the 200 Fly.
- UT finished the day four with an 8th place 200 Free Relay performance of 1:33.23 from Isabelle Sering, Tilde Morin, Sierra Gillan and Roma Vrijhof.
