As a Freshman: Earned 8th place at the Valdosta State 5K with a time of 19:23.2... Earned 13th place at the Florida State 5K with a time of 19:44.3... Finished 3rd and 4th among Spartans at the Mountain Dew 5K and the Queens 5K... Ran the SSc 6K in 25:40.56.

High School: Graduate of Steinbrenner High School...Helped team to the 4A cross country state championship...Posted top times in the 1 mile (5:28), 2 mile (11:44) and 5k (19:39). 

Personal: Born in Fort Hood, Texas...Volunteered Metropolitan Ministries, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Van Dyke Church, and an international camp in Spain to assist Spaniards in speaking English...Chose UT "because of the enriched environment...Grew up in Florida and was not planning on staying this close, but once she went on a visit to the campus she knew it was the right place for her...Favorite professional athlete is Alex Morgan... Daughter of Nacole and Burdette  Rekow... Oldest of four children.
